CoreELEC is a minimal Linux system that runs Kodi on cheap Amlogic TV boxes, booting straight into your media center in seconds. The community tunes it per device for smooth playback.
It supports specific hardware only, and setup means flashing and choosing the right image. A boutique path to a silent, dedicated media box.
