Tor Browser is the practical way to use Tor. Traffic goes through three volunteer relays so the site does not see your home IP, and no single relay is meant to see both who you are and where you are going. The bundle adds per-site isolation and fingerprint hardening so one Tor user looks like the next.
It is slower, some sites block it, and the protection fails if you log into an account that already knows your name. Exit relays can read traffic that is not HTTPS. Download it from the Tor Project. A lookalike installer is worse than a normal browser.
Use it for anonymity, not for convenience. It does not make a mistake anonymous after you have made one. torproject.org/download
