AAWireless is a small Dutch-made dongle that adds wireless Android Auto to cars with only wired support, so your phone stops being cabled to the dashboard. Firmware updates are frequent and the community around it is engaged.
It is Android-only, pairing takes a minute on first connection, and it costs more than a cable. Convenience with a conscience, from a small company.
